IS there going to be a Pro Masters division? I didn't see it as an option on the the Pre-reg.

Why not?
Is the the associations way of making me play my rating? I'm not interested in playing AM and I'd just be donating to the Open field with out much of a chance of competing!

Not the associations idea, just something local that is going on around here, heck at the falls it is only pro or am.

Sorry to hear you'll be skipping this one. We liked the way some of the tourneys in the area have went with the limited divisions/larger fields format. We've had some real nice feedback about the course from the more...uh..."well seasoned" players around the area and most of them are of the GM variety. So we didn't want to exclude that crowd. From what I've noticed, most of the master's division can usually compete well with the open division. That's why we went the way we did.

You got it Shark  If it was just my tourney, I probably would've left AM master out as well, but there are a few key members that voted it in.

I know its up to the TD to set the divisions as they see fit. But why have a GM feild and not a Masters. Have a masters feild and not a GM. GM's would be more competive in the Mastsers, then Masters playing in Open... Its an age thing IMO. I'm sure I'll come mainly because I want to see the course.

You are correct george heck dan won masters at llamapalooza last week. I think the (misguided)rationale is to grow the open field (on the entry fees of lesser pros)
