Distances

Postby paul » Tue Jun 09, 2009 5:18 pm

i figured this deserved it's own thread. i think this is the first time that distances have been accurately recorded since the concrete tees went in. if someone can tell me a better way to paste a chart i'll do it (stiles?).

i haven't had a chance to proof this. kindly point it out if anything looks out of whack.

the longest hole on the course is 6E at 554'
the shortest is 7A at 204'

when the course is set up with all pins in the longest placements it measures 6,107' from the metals and 6,893' from the woods.
with all pins in the short positions it's 4,685' metal and 5,465' wood.

Time for the rangefinder again? Paul's closer, I think. Wasn't it around 400'? You're officially a "big arm" if you can reach the zoo hospital fence from 1's tee. The roof of the building is ~600'.
