Scarboro Hills Tuesday Night Glow

Postby Jeff R » Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:59 pm

I got a permit from Parks & Rec. to be in the park after dark on Tuesday nights only. We start at 6:00. One putter & one mid-range. I recommend you bring a small flashlight, there are some tripping hazards on the wooded holes.

It's starting to get to that time fellas so start looking to get your lights soon (I just bought out Dick's in Bel Air for the time being). For those who will be glowing with us here is the rules/suggestions:

1) One putter and mid range disc per person
2) No flashlights permitted for play (lost disc/ light came off flashlights permitted)
3) We suggest warming up your disc before you tape lights on
4) Glow disc don't work well out here
5) all county parks rules and regulations are in effect (so thus you need to be out on scheduled nights as we have the permits)

and keep in mind this is for fun!

First night of glow would see 11 show and a wonderful round of glow ensue, except for that annoying moon makeing it hard to see . Come on now, how many times have you said "The moon is in my eyes"...

Partners would be Jeff R and Matt D, Dave D and Josh L, Don S and Jeff, Eric and Steve C, with Mark L, Glen, and Mark and making a triple. Don S and Jeff take the evening's best score, but fun was abound by all.

Dave and myself unfortunetly came up with a new game of "How to Miss this Putt" by finding the pole, the top of basket, side of the basket, through the chains, in and out of the basket, hitting the number plate, and of course everyone's favorite way to miss a putt... miss the basket completely.

Hope to see everyone and hopefully a few more out next Tuesday at 6 pm

7 Showed last night for an interesting round of glow. The triple team of Glen, John, and Dave took the night. The team of Nick and Steve made a good run at them at the end to keep it close. Highlight of the night and may be one for the year was Matt's second ace on number 10. I've got to admit that had to be one of the coolest things to see watching a glow ace. Someone better put that guy out he's on fire with his second ace now in two weeks. A big thanks goes out to Nick who brought out some lights to hang on the baskets to make it a little more groovy :afro:
